Chosen Song: Kid Cudi Vs Crookers - Day N Nite

We have spent lots of time researching into music videos within hip-hop we have all looked at artists we liked, clothing we liked, videos we liked, songs we liked and we have even found out what our audience like. Using all of this information we have decided to choose the song; 'Day N Nite' by Kid Cudi (Vs Crookers). We already had a selection of artists and songs we wanted to chose from but we couldn't quite decide between us which song was best. So we looked at all the songs we had and thought which ones will be able to include the ideas we have seen in other music videos, we then had to look at which songs had lyrics that would be easy to lip sync to. Finally we had to make sure it was a shortish length and had no swearing in it. We had at this point already favoured toward Kid Cudi's song but we wanted to make sure we also looked at what the audience wanted. We already needed to do a survey to get a few more ideas for our video and find out what the audience would and wouldn't like to see in it, so we used this to include a question to find out which of our artists the audience liked best. Although Kid Cudi wasn't the most favoured artist we thought it had enough votes to be able to be the song we chose, so after a lot of research and comparing several songs against others we settled on Day N Nite.
